At the beginning of the year of 2018 president, Doland Trump pulled out of the Iran nuclear deal, causing a series of sanctions that added on to the United States and Irans tension. The sanctions target assets of Iran of its gold, coal, steel as well as its automotive industry along with the purchases of U.S. dollars. This around 40 global companies to pull out of Iran due to these sanctions, causing a huge reproduction in its economy and workforce, leaving many jobless. This wasn’t the first time where the united states extremely screwed over Iran’s economy for their own personal gain. The question comes to mind where this tension being and what causes it? This quarrel has been going on ever since 1951, where the UNited states interfered with Iran’s politics by removing the just elected prime minister, Muhammad Mosaddegh who had just freed Iran from Britain’s control over their oil. Instead, the US CIA came about removed the prime minister and instead replaced him with Monarch, Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi who was controlled by the US. ever since then Iran’s relationship with the united states gets worst, wherein 1979 during Iran’s revolution Iranian took ten Americans hostage for almost a year. Then in the 1980s, America supported Saddam Hussien in his war against Iran, where Iran got back at America in the 2000s where they supplied weapons to Iraq to use against the united states. Fast forward to the dilemma of the US versus Iran continues, where on June 21, 2019, there was a chance for all the quelling possibly turning into a full-on war. Argument accorded where a United States drone was shot down either on Iran air space or international waters. This action caused the United States to almost bomb Iran before Donald trump stopped it(not too long after he ordered it). Though there was and still is currently peace between the two countries, its fair to say that peace is on a thread. What may happen in the future between Iran and the United States, nobody really knows, but with history, war may soon become. 

Since the citizens united ruling it effectively removed limits on outside spending and allowed so-called dark money to expand. It’s known as dark money because of political nonprofits don’t need to disclose their donors or mention how much money they spend on ads. With the appearance of philanthropy dark money had flooded our political system, epically through 501c4s, they manage to stay anonymous in last-minute table-turning elections. 501c4s is an Internal Revenue Code section hat, in theory, is designed to promote, well, social welfare causes, however, it ends up being more abused for political gain. On March 23, 2016, Judicial crisis network released a video, that destroyed Merrick Garland’s chance at a neck to neck election, last minute so that a few swing-vote senators rejected him. If Merrick Garland had made to the Supreme Court there would have been no five-four conservative majority, which would have caused a very different world than the world we live in today. Judicial crisis network is a nonprofit funded almost entirely anonymous mega-philanthropist; so 501c4s has become a weapon for the wealthy in so-called philanthropy causing more threats to democracy.

If you have ever bought anything online chances are some of the stuff you bought it from Amazon. Amazon, a company that started off as an online market for books, to the most powerful and richest company in the world, leading in technology, sales, and the general market. They have revolutionized what it means to be the alpha, by cutting off companies by starving them in sales, to straight-up buying them before they boomed out, being consumed and apart of Amazon’s empire. Amazon’s history of doing so has made them who they are today and how they managed put fear into the hearts of all minor business owners. As if right now amazon has the power to destroy 43 companies and one for a second time. In November 2010, Amazon launched a price war against diapers.com in reaction to the company denying to being bought out. Amazon cut its prices so low that it actually bled out in sales and profit for that month, selling a case of pampers for $39 whereas its commotion sells them for $45. Not too long after this stunt the company Diapers.com ended up-sell themselves not being able to survive in just a month. This is proof of what risks Amazon is worth taking to destroying its competition and be the sole survivor, and belive me history will repeat its self.

On May 16, 2019 president Donal Trump had added the chinse originated tech company Huawei to the Commerce department’s entity list which restricts it doing business with any US company without explicit government approval. The act has caused a spurt in the tech and caused pressing issues for the company, in terms of trade and problems to their own product. However, this may a power move for the US considering the political in made and how it possibly protects the country. In order to grasp the situation of the ban and what it means exactly we need to understand the situation with Huawei and its background.  Huawei is a Chinse multinational technology company that was founded in 1987 in China, proving telecommunications equipment and sells consumer electronics, and smartphones. You can think of it easier as China’s homemade Samsung and has been racing to the top of the tech industry controlling 11.4 percent of the global market in third place. One of the more focused advancements and part of the most threating for the United States is its lead on 5g development, a technology where it is 20 times faster than 4g. This causes the probability of where China takes over for 5g technology allowing them to control like how the US likes to control its oil in Iran during the 80s. Even putting aside the economic disadvantage that it puts on us, there is also a probability of spying according. With the company, Huawei not having an actual owner and rather a shared company of china this allows the country china to take advantage and possibly use their technology to spy on the united states and gain intel in favor of their country. However, this is all theory now with the ban, causing companies like google to remove themselves from Hwuasiw hardware, along with many of its chips from the other US-originated companies to trade with Huawei. Bringing the company far back into the race, thus making its dream to possibly to stay as dreams.
